Jocelyn Louise, who was once wrongly accused in a major newspaper as being under the influence of "folk" music was originally the lead singer for indie rock band, Tracy Jane. When the band foolishly called it quits in the summer of 1995, she began to see that all things were not necessarily how they seem and that she in fact WAS under the influence of "folk" music. Blending that with countless other types of influences and the final realisation that she would never find anyone to jam with, you get what has become "Jocelyn Louise" Now after thirteen long years, where time was spent in Portland, ME and Northridge, CA (yes the"Valley") and now livin' it up in Boston, MA, we find new elements are slowly being absorbed. With Malibu Ellis (once in a while) taking on the job of laying down the low ends, and electric guitars and drum beats making a rather new appearance, it does seem as if space really is the final frontier
