"Freezing Inferno" is a band from Madisonville, Kentucky. Don't expect southern rock or country, no, we play rock. Rock that sounds like AC/DC from Guns'N'Roses, to Ozzy Osbourne.
Why this name?
Freezing Inferno is more a name for a punk band, but we sound far from punk. Tim just kept saying that the band was called "Freezing Inferno" thus making it his band. But we're not sticking with this name, it is soon to change when we think up a decent one. We are going to decide on one as a band, not just one person saying, "Okay, this is my band, we're calling it ."
Do you play live?
We haven't played live yet, as soon as we get some kinks out and playing. We should be on the streets soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Alot of people, like us, can get our music out without spending thousands to go to a studio and make a cd. Or spend about 50 dollars and make crappy ones.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if it was fair, we made a profeit, and we won't get screwed.
Band History:
In 2001 I got my first "real" electric guitar and fell in love with all the thing that I could do. I soon was playing very well and made a band with a freind who played drums. Then after a few practices we got Jake Allison as a second guitarist. Our first drummer quit as soon as we got Tim Cullen for bass. Got some guy for drums, some guy for vocals. Drummer replaced with Taylor Sanders for know, and the vocalist never has shown any interest in being in the band.
Your influences?
Guns'N'Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Van Halen, Stevie Via, Stevie Ray Vaughn because you can't hate blues, Staind, Metallica, Led Zepplin, Pink Flyod, Shinedown, and ZZ Top to just name a few.
Favorite spot?
None as of now.
Equipment used:
I got a Carvin DC 127 Strat with a Kustom Quad 200watt half stack with 4 Cleston speakers, Ovation Acoustic, Hiwatt Custom 50 Tube amp head, and an old pawned guitar I'm fixing.
Jake Allsion has got a Wolfgang Eddie Van Halen reissue, Marshall soild-state combo, Peavy soild-state and a 700 tube musican amp(?). Tim Cullen has a Samick 5-stringed bass and some solid-state amp. Talyor Sanders, don't know what kind of drum set.

Anything else...?
I'm getting a Digitech GNX4 Recorder so expect some great things coming from us in the future.
