I specialize in composing music such as hip-hop, techno, and pop.
Why this name?
It began with Halo 2 and my college friends. Some of them were into martial arts and ninja stuff. One of them suggested I use an Asian name for my Halo ID. I was thinking of using "samurai" with numbers or other characters in that word. I realized that "samurai" was overused, so I decided to use the Korean equivalent of the word, which is "musa". At the time, I thought "musa" was just going to be a Halo thing but people started to call me that all the time. So I was like "Hmm. Why the hell not?"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
CDs are becoming something of the past. Everything is becoming more digital. iTunes provides MP3 downloading for $0.99 a song, and the iPods are getting a lot more popular. You probably wouldn't find me in any CD store buying a CD.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For sure. Maybe just as a music composer though. I'm able to sing, but in America I don't know how far I can get as a Korean American. There aren't many Asians in the entertainment industry in the US.
