I am a multi-instrumentalist who started as a keyboard player in the early 80ies but nowadays mostly concentrate on guitar and bass. I play what I like (or what I am asked to play) and compose different styles of music. I've had a classical music education but switched to more popular music styles soon after. Through the years I set up a well equiped home studio including sound modules, samplers and a large mixing desk to neglect all of that now and work mosty with the computer (one reason: SAVE & LOAD, soooo easy ...)
Why this name?
It's my name.
Do you play live?
Yes. And if you need a bass or guitar player for live, studio or electronic overdub, feel free to contact me. No satisfaction, no costs ...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a great tool for promotion, meeting new musicians and singers a.s.o. Mp3 is just one way to compress music. I would have liked to see a higher quality format as standard (on the net) but for now it's fine.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I've had one in the 80ies (as part of a band) and never saw much money. Let's say I would think over it ...
Your influences?
Miles Davis, Steely Dan, Kraftwerk, Yello, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, a.m.o ...
Favorite spot?
Paris
