Driving down the road, using a cell phone to communicate with the car about a mile ahead of me. The connection started to cut in and out. The last thing i hear before the cell phone cuts out for the last time, is: "Don't miss the turn on avenue..."

the guitarist and the drummer went to school together and had one class together for only one semester. They talked about starting a band, the drummer has had 3 yrs of drum experience and the guitarist had 11 yrs at the time. They started off figureing out band names and stuff, they came across a couple really sucky ones like soul2 and boxcar idiots. It wasnt until a car ride up to the mountains to go snowboarding that the name Avenue X came across their minds. The drummer had had alot of bad luck with blind dates and girls. He would have a new girlfriend almost every month, sometimes every two weeks. He had alot to write about in songs about his love life. As for the guitarist, he was tired of girl-boy relationship songs, too many were out there, so he decided to make a few novelty songs and eventually he decided to play songs that everyone could relate to, such as a change of heart. He even made one about himself having a split personality that made a few laughs at a school he played it at. The band has gone through 2 singers, and 3 guitarists, trying to find the perfect 2nd guitar player and the perfect boy singer. They still search.
