I am a hip hop music producer from Newcastle Upon Tyne, i have been interested in hip hop for about 7 years now and decided to start making my own music about 2 years ago. I have also recently started to write lyrics and hopefully in time i will put my own lyrics to my beats.
Why this name?
It sorta just popped into my head one day, it was orignaly Trixx because i am a part time magician, but i researched that name on the net and found it had been taken!
Do you play live?
no not yet, but in time i would like to.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think mp3's are revolutionary because it means that anyone can listen to any genre of music at anytime they want on the net without paying large sums of money!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah that would be mint!
Your influences?
Yeah i really like allot of motown even though i am only 17 lol, and i love all the old school hip hop especialy grandmaster flash and the furious five. But i have also been inspired by allot of hip hop from my home town in Newcastle, by the likes of equip, and stiggy they are great.
Favorite spot?
Newcastle!
Equipment used:
I use a casio CTK-571 MIDI keyboard, a pc, fruity loops pro edition, acid 4.0, sounforge, audacity for slicin samples!, condenser mic, behringer mixer, 2 stanton str8-80 turntables, and pure skillll! lol...
