My real band name is U-NeeK, my stage name, alas I have yet to come across a band that suits me.

I use to do many battles on the streets, but now I've gotten more mature with my music and wanna put out a message instead of degrading others and putting them down. Angry music only messes up others minds

yeah, helps, we all can hear tha music we love and wish for much easier... makes unsigned artists like myself out there have a voice and get their music out there. I'm still struggling, but I cant let go of the dream.

Everything with a beat. Hell even just poetry spoken by someone with a vivid voice. Attitude wise, poetry can be highly influencial on my music. Plus I write plenty of it. Tha main sh*** that influenced me was old school "fresh" hiphop like Slick Rick, Biz Markie, Doug E Fresh, etc etc. All tha old greats in Mc'ing and beatboxing.

I sacrificed everything for my music, I lost most everything to get it heard, and I'm still not out tha dark, but its nicer then before. you cant just play around, make a song here and there, you have to write all tha time, make it betta, learn tha industry, learn tha angles. learn what sells in you area, get your local fans, then try to become a true rapper... in tha industry... get an agent first, I got an agent, a talent rep who looks for producers for me, etc... all these guys ONLY get paid when I get paid. Right now, its rough, if you see 50 Cent and think OMG, thats gonna be me, ya want tha jewels, tha cars, tha women, ya aint a rapper, you're a piece of shit... I dont do it for money, I do it to help others, to get others outta tha place I was in... it aint about money, its about making good music... making somethin that matters... standing out. being ya damn self and doing what tha f*** ya want no matter what tha f*** others say... I pass on record deals that could make me rich.. WHY? cause I wont sell out, cause its about tha music, not that dollar... if ya bout that money, ya need to go deal dope, and leave tha art to someone else.


I'm tired of hearing and seeing wannabe assholes thinking they can talk bout sh*** cause they saw someone else do it, I talk bout drugs and dealing and gangs and shit, cause I was in it since I was a kid, if you aint been in that, felt that, have knowledge in that, DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT, you'll never be anything if you live thru others experiences instead of your own.
