Desperate Hope
Christian Free Improvisation noise music. I have been an improviser since 1979. I have written articles on free improvisation for 'The Improvisor' magazine (and website)as well as others. I play guitar, homemade instruments, turntables, objects, etc.
Why this name?
Proclaimation is basically meant from the christian viewpoint to preach the good news. This can be applied to artistic things in many ways.
Do you play live?
I produced periodically for the community access TV station in Reno, Nevada the noizefestival band that I'm in. Reno doesn't support this kind of music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has given us the ability to share our music with one another (and alot of other things). We can communicate with others in seconds who could be living on the opposite side of the globe.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
They were be desparate if they wanted to sign me.
