Yo..waddup my name is Sinicide. I cut it up and thats that aight? I'ma try ta bring some ill rhymes into this hip hop thang...and knock some sense into these wack lyricists who ain't talkin' bout sh*t but killin'. Let me hear you do somethin' instead of complainin' about it.
Why this name?
I'ma sinner...I do bad things, thus makin' myself Sinicidal. Nah I'm playin'..it's just a nickname.
Do you play live?
I have performed live before. Ya know? Not on a regualar basis tho. Me and my boy Dizeazed performed as our group JNX at some show in Granite Bay. Hopefully in may we'll be doin' another show in GB called Day at the Bay. Dunno...if opportunities arise you can count on me jumpin' on them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has definatley changed the music industry in a very positive way. It takes a lot of light from those performers who don't deserve or didn't earn the recognition they get from the mainstream. It also allows many, many underground artist without a whole lotta cash to get heard. They have an opportunity to get their sh*t out to the public and other important people. It also establishes a fan base for artists...that is the most important thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would mos def sign with a major label. I don't consider it selling out. Like I said before, this hip hop game is all about opportunity. If I got the opporunity to be heard by some heads on the net then I definatley wanna be heard by even more nationwide.
Your influences?
My biggest influence would have to be Pharoahe Monch...everything I've learned (and am learning) about the art of being a lyricist I've learned from him. I believe Pharoahe to be the best at what he does...he can string together and rhyme words like no other. I also enjoy listening to, and am inspired by Motion Man and KutMasta Kurt, Mike Shinoda, Pacewon (and the rest of the Outsidaz), the mad rapper Eminem, Canibus, Del the Funky Homosapien, Rasco, Planet Asia, and a lot of the aspiring west coast rap from the early '90s and beyond such as RBL Posse, Richie Rich and Andre Nikatina.
Favorite spot?
My favorite chill spot could be anywhere from Pacifica to Sacramento...as long as its on the left coast.
Anything else...?
You gotta hit up http://www.sinicide.tk/ if you really wanna be down, aight? While there don't forget to peep all the content and drop me a line...peace.
