Conscender is a four man melodic hardcore band from Reno, NV. The band came together in the summer of 2002 with our good friend,Alex Hay, on drums. The drum slot has changed since then as Alex left to attend college at the university of Arizona. We then turned to long time friend Marc Davis, and since the lineup change, things have been going great and the band has been playing a lot of shows both in and out of town. Conscender is planning to tour in the summer of '05 and is currently preparing to record their second album in late January. The bands first release is entitled Opus Dei. It is a powerful and emotional 8 track disc that will keep you listening. It is a fresh perspective in the world of hardcore with crushing breakdowns, emotional melodies, and psychadelic twists. The band has shared the stage with such acts as Alixisonfire, Between the Buried and me, The hoods, December,Avenged Sevenfold,Hemlock,Hostility,Stars are falling,Something Must Die,Toxic Narcotic, and Vile.
