white chocolate was born in 2001 when j-fry was playing a guitar riff he wrote and the curve started freestyling over it. they knew they had just stumbled on an instant classic so they recorded the song. that song was the international hit 'groundhog'. after that white chocolate wrote several more intelligent, thought-provoking rap rock songs such as 'messed up life', 'men in tights' the power ballad 'someday'. however, none of these songs made it in the studio as the band had many other things to do (like wear short shorts). the band reunited and shifted more towards the pop rock style in 2003 when they released 'the white chocolate christmas ep'. they then went on to record a cover of simon's 'popularity' and the white chocolate original 'bottle city', both of which will be on their full length album due out in the fall of 2005. until then look for an acoustic album by the band in early to mid summer.
