Tha name comes from the group taking over the northside of ATL, "Locking it down" like Alcatraz & "Breaking Free" from the traditional music industry like those imprisoned.

As a camp we work like a unit to bring talent to the forefront and NOT just those with money. We promote, market, connect, and produce relationships between professionals & the aspiring within the entertainment industry. We operate as Soldiers, not prisoners, and we continue to learn and grow instead of being stagnant and breeding ignorance. The CAMP is a military-like unit which has adpted the 'Alcatraz' name to give off a clear picture of how serious we are, reformed.

Well that depends... We represent ARTISTS and these artist can perform anyway depending on where they're from. Of course most common, ATL Georgia. As for the original CAMP (artists), We perform wherever we are accepted...any & everywhere! Atlanta, Detroit, Miami, and hopefully everywhere else.

It changes the industry by aiding to new sublevel streams of music. New markets are created, and hip hop music & other genres evolves around them.

We are looking for distribution deals, but either of us would take an opportunity to get with a notable, "good-business" practicing label and earn our stripes in the industry. "You must see the original in order to change it successfully"
