Not a band really. Just me, a recorder, a couple guitars, and a recently purchased keyboard that I hope to learn to play. Collaboration is welcome.
Why this name?
Inspired by a friend who is still in the business, who said it is the way her feels when talking to younger musicians.
Do you play live?
Not at all.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has the capability of breaking the strangle hold that big corporations have on the emergence of new talent. It already is an excellent learning tool for musicians.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Unlikely that one would be offered, but I guess it would depend on the alternatives.
Band History:
Again -- not in a band for many years. I was way back when you could make a living at it.
Your influences?
Way too many to list, and I don't emulate others anyway. I like listening to songs that move me emotionally -- rock -- blues -- latin styles -- country -- even boy bands. I like a song to move me emotionally, and I try to reflect that in what I write.
Favorite spot?
Home.
Equipment used:
Fender Squire Strat; Martin 12-string; Yamaha PSR-K1 keys; Tascam Pocketstudio 5 recorder; a few software programs for making CDs
Anything else...?
As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so music is in the ear of the listener. If it moves you, its music. If it doesn't, then its not music to you, but it may be to someone else.
