Crash is a Urban DJ/Music Producer, Producing new original music with talented artist.
Why this name?
The name Crash is from when I step into the party, I crash it with hot beats and sound.
Do you play live?
Yes I love to play live, I spin at the Marlin On Miami Beach and the Cameo, Miami Beach.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3s and the Internet has changed the face of the music business forever, its alot easier to network with other producers,djs & artist worldwide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends....
Band History:
Crash's back ground goes back to the late 80ies.
Started DJing at 14yo, cut my first record by 16yo.
It was with a rapper named: Gigolo Tony & DJ Crash (4-sight records),after Producing 2 Lps with Gigolo Tony, and touring with groups like, Public Enemy,MC Hammer, Big Daddy Cane,Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince,Biz Markie,Luke Skywalker,MC Shy D,MC ADE and many others.
Crash moved into the background, studio and radio.
Teaming up with long friend Kevin to form "Whiz Kids"
Production Remix Duo, having one of the first Hip-Hop Urban Radio Mix Shows in Miami (Dope Jamz) on 99 Jamz in 89' to 92'.
Crash then moved to NY and landed a EP deal with 4th&B'way records, with a Hip Hop Group Called "One Blood" , then Crash moved back to the S.FL Area to form a HipHop/Rock Band named" Hashbrown" which Crash played drums, doing shows with acts like James Brown,Wu Tang,Sheryl Crow just to name a few. Hashbrown released a LP in 96, Crash has released a few mixtapes since and is currantly apart of the production "Unusual Suspects"
