Do Unto Others (formerly Apartment 213) ,comprised of Dylan Pointer (vocals), Ryan DeHart (guitars), Jeff Niedens (bass), Nick Welch (dj, samples), and Ben Mangina (drums), was formed in Winter of 2000 in a dump called Milliken, Colorado. We began writing songs in a ice cold garage of our singer at the time (Eric Walter's) house. With influences that range from Mudvayne, & Sepultura to the progressive style of Pantera, we basically hoped to bring something new to the table. Something that hadn't been beat to death in the local scene, or music abroad. In late 2003 our singer was replaced briefly with "Tears Fall Red" singer, Marty Berkhard, (formerly of Shallow Habit, Ft. Collins, Colorado) and we played the best show of our lives, playing for well over 350+ for a benifit show at the Starlight (Ft. Collins). Many good memories with that guy! We are now forging ahead with a new guitar player Josh Wiengarner, and Dylan Pointer, an aggressive "PHIL ANSELMOesque" balls to the wall aggressive singer, with the diversity and progression of such bands as Tool, and Kill Switch Engage. There is no doubt "Do Unto Others" is Northern Colorado's best heavy metal band.
