How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
In my honest opinion the internet has only enhanced the music industry. While many pro RIAA protected labels may use online sharing as a reason for low sales, I blame low sales on overpriced media. The internet has helped promote and start more careers and in recent years has also offered legal ways to obtain music at a generally cheap price (though you may not find what you are really looking for). If every person with a computer and an internet connection could find what they were looking for on the paid services I believe you would see less file sharing/stealing. I've also found that about 75% of the time, if an album is really worth more then $10 then it will be bought, whether it's already been downloaded or not.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's possible if the deal is right.
Band History:
You already know, come take a visit and see how we live.
Your influences?
We listen to so much music we wouldn't even be able to state who our influences are. We feel restricting yourself to a few artists from one specific genre really stunts the musical growth, inspiration, and overall influence. To keep it real we listen to everything from Joe Buddens(Rap) to The Isley Bros.(R&B) to Disturbed(Rock), etc. Lately we've been bumping a lot of unsigned and unknown talent from Soundclick, MySpace, and iSound.
