Baraka Bhajana are words from two spiritual traditions: the Sufi and the Vedic tradition. Baraka means the universal manifestation of energy that flows thru our hearts, and Bhajan means devotional poetry. The music we make thru Binghi Bhajan are poems of the heart, which use the sound and power of voice along with melodic inspiration of creation to flood the heart with divine love and ecstatic emotion.

Baraka Bhajana is a family of students, visionaries, musicians, poets, lightworkers, and soul searchers. We come together to make beautiful inspirational music which energizes the spirit, and honors all culutres, religions, and ways of the heart. Our hope is that through the music and the vibration it creates, we may be able to contribute to the growing movement for unconditional world peace and love, as well as the planetary consciousness for conservation, preservation, and sustainability.

Baraka Bhajana is led by the voices of Saksi Gopal Das and Robin Tala, both from Bloomington, Indiana, but is an ongoing and ever growing family made of blessed bredren and sistren from all over this beautiful planet.
