Coming out of the Lansing, MI area...our hip hop group called ThhhTribe, pronounced The Tribe, was formed in June of 1999. Throughout the years we have really grown in our music. Now that we have been around awhile, we have finally established our sound that keeps it real to who we are... check out our music, because were coming up quick.
Why this name?
It's The Tribe with a lisp aka the first thing we thought of.
Do you play live?
We play live time to time. We'll post anything if there are any shows coming up.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet helps the music industry a little bit. You can't really get a record deal off the internet, but it helps get your music out to the public who are not local.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course we would... just waiting for that day to come.
Band History:
We started rappin' in 1999 and have made 8 albums titled Tribe Gots Vibe, LIVIN on top Tha HIGH LIFE, Killa Hurtz, Half-of-Infinity, Eye's Of Emcees, and Tha Frost, and Bridge The Gap which is on sale right now for about $5.00.
