Well currently guys their is no band but with this website i am hoping to promote myself and offer guitar duties to other bands of the same genres as the one i am into now. I started playing guitar when i was 16 then learned a few power chords and the rest is history. My most influenced band is Nirvana. The band as simple as they were got me started on the guitar and paved a path towards the musical legacies left by many bands out today.
Why this name?
This band name came from my past. A hearst is a funeral station wagon and for me i have somewhat dark personality and a non fear of death. I except it rather then fear it cause death is a part of life.
Do you play live?
At the moment i do not have a ensamble together. I do however have lots of live experience and my playing style is designed for live performance situations.Best moment i had was my last gig with my band. Battle of the bands at a venue. We were the last death metal act to go on and we got a great crowd response. The death of our drummer is what ended us. We tried to move on but we couldnt replace her at all.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives ways to theives who rip off peoples work to giving a voice and to be heard. Mp3's arent a good idea and in a way they are. Swapable music files are a excellent way to promote yourself but at the samne time can also damage your financial success. Most musicians who dont care about mp3's love the music and are satisfied with thepayments they get where as others are more corperate and are in it for the money. File sharing is ok by me but should be to a controled limit. I have noticed a lot of downloads are rare stuff and stuff hard to find in the musical stores as well as unavailability. For instance Deicides "When Satan Rules His World" i cant find that anywhere so if i have a chance to hear it and get it on the net am i going to stop myself? Really......and what about the albums that have been discontinued? Anyways dont allow people to share unless you dont mind.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as the contract was negotiable yeah sure no problem.
Your influences?
Nirvana, Metallica, Slayer, Deicide, Death, Testament,Alice in chains,Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse,Cradle of filth, lacuna coil, Seether.
Favorite spot?
Toronto Canada
Equipment used:
I use guitar wise a digitech death metal distortion pedal as well as a digitech multi effect pedal, Peavy amplifier. I play a BC rich Warlock.
Anything else...?
Yeah i havent heard anything amazing since 1994 and before, lets get some generation sh*** going on here and rid these pretty bands.
