Contemplicate has been growing quietly just beneath our skin, but only recently has it begun to outgrow our bodies, to eat through and reveal to us what has been feeding on us this whole time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The record labels still fear the internet, even now, years after Napster's original sin. The freedom of readily available free music to the masses would ultimately be the death of the record labels, if their corporate greed didn't afford them lawyers.

For artists, the internet means exposure, even for bands located in areas where they can never hope to be heard. Very few would be upset about someone downloading their song because they wanted to listen to it.

As technology advances, the average person can do anything. Movies and music can now be produced from the comfort of your laptop while driving to the store, and published to millions of people surfing the net just seconds later.

Million dollar record deals are becoming obsolete, because we can just do it ourselves. The balance of power in corporate-controlled America is soon to be erased.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well someone has to pay the cost of touring, so it might as well be a record label while they still have some money left.
Your influences?
Our musical influences are extremely diverse, and we are constantly pushing forward to learn and experiment with new things. The only thing that will stunt our growth and metamorphosis as artists is ignorance.
