Members of dayslost have a diverse musical background including punk, metal, hardcore, classical, and even funk. dayslost as a band has an emotional rock sound with catchy melodies, brutally heavy rock sounds, as well as screaming guitar harmonies. Kyle does screaming as well as clean vocals. Musically, dayslost does not sound exactly like any other band, but could be loosely compared to bands like Hopesfall, Finch, Poison the Well, Thursday, Killswitch Engage, Further Seems Forever, The Used, Open Hand, Beautiful Mistake, A Static Lullaby, and other similar bands.
