Ang Bandang WALANG FLAT RATE!!
Why this name?
It came from the MYSTICAL BABYLONIAN WORDs "VALKINUS" meaning the STRENGTH and "PARKINARIA" meaning the JOY.....
Do you play live?
Campus Gigs, breakfast shows, late-night talk shows, productions, debuts, baptismals, and even "wakes" (burol)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
no... soon, the world will once again be filled with cassette tapes and turntables....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
well... depende.... basta maganda yung LABEL..... yung makulay at kakaiba ang DESIGN....
Band History:
Formed sometime in 2002. This then "nameless" band was founded by JAPO Anareta & "BUTOY" during their 1st year in college. Shortly, GREG Lamanilao , DAX Balmeo, and KENMAR Vibar joined the group. They started playing "half-baked" cover songs (They were not "serious" back then) ranging from Rivermaya to Guns & Roses.

A few months passed, the band decided to take their so-called "career" seriously. They started writing their own material and rehearsing as a real ticking band. Eventually, KENMAR left the four, thus sealing the fate of their old "rag-tag band" format. Valetparking officially became a "band" after an indie recording session on September 11, 2003 at GREG’s flat.

From that point onward, Valetparking started playing for Campus-sponsored gigs, Bar Shows, Early Morning TV Programs and even for Local Late Night Talk Shows. The band also fronted for some of the biggest names in the Local Rock Scene (ex. RIVERMAYA, PUPIL, SANDWICH, IMAGO, JOINTHECLUB, to name a few.). Their biggest gig to date is their appearance on National TV on QTV Channel 11’s Late Night Comedy Talk Show: "THE SOBRANG GUDNITE SHOW w/ JOJO A."

Armed with more than a dozen original songs, 3 demos, and a few live gig videos, the band continues to make music that they really wanted.
