Special moments?
Sure. Any time my beat turns into more than just a beat.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A few people have emailed me with the most important question anyone has ever asked me. "Why are the exclusive rights for some songs up to $10,000, but you only ask $0.50 to download a song?" The answer is simple, and I can be sure this relates to most artist. Producing music is hard work and every song is like a fingerprint, unique in it's own way. The problem is that unlike a real fingerprint, artist are loosing money every second due to file sharing, CD copying Ect. I am one of millions of artist that is willing to let the World LISTEN for free, and have downloading as an option for a price. And I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I look at my current chart positions, page hits, and song plays, I see numbers in the thousands, but I don't see those same numbers in my bank account. Why is that? If I had $1.00 for every song play from the first day I uploaded my songs here on Soundclick alone, I could have purchaced a nice house by now and not homeless like I am at the time I am writing this.
All the song plays, and positive comments are important to me, but there not paying the bills.
on the other hand...
Without the Net, Some of us undiscovered artist would never be Discovered. It has helped me in numorous ways.
To put it simply...
If you have a PayPal account, you know that they made it easy to pay any amount to anyone that has a PayPal account.
If you don't want to buy a song or album, but want to see ANY artist here make it big, I'm sure I'm speaking for alot of artist here when I say "DONATIONS are welcome!." I haven't met one artist that is looking for a hand out, Including myself. Most of us would just like to see real results from all our hard work.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, Sign me up. (I'm not geting any younger.)
Band History:
In the mid 80's, It the fate of the young artest was known. DJ Agitator was among the few in the neighborhood that could breakdance. He hung out with the "Midnight Breakers" and went to the local clubs to perform at the age of 8 years old. He later decided he would be a "Rap Star". Although he had his moments of shame, He kept his chin up and decided to try somthing new...............Producing music.
