Why this name?
My old name was Gold, but when Jesus came into my life, the whole person washed away and made a change. My whole destiny in life was shaped changed too. Plus, thats my nickname too. (PACBABY).
(Man of Many Mistakes) We ain't perfect. I consider all my past sins and transgressions as mistakes. We all make mistakes and some of us have scars from our mistakes. God forgives and forgets, but its hard for our flesh. I see my past as condemnation to my soul, because its like looking back and leaning to it.
(P.Bizzle) Another name for Pacbaby.
Do you play live?
Yes, contact me for collabs, gigs, or for music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it alot, because of the world wide web community we all make.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but depends.
Your influences?
The rappers I grew up listening to was: Beelow & Ballin' Records, No Limit, Cash Money, C-Loc, Pastor Troy, 3-6, and so many others.
But the people I look up to today and think back on harder is P.I.D., FTF, Demon killas, Crossin' Tha Bridge Records, T.H.I.S. Click Records, Big Steve, Smooth P, DCP, Da Zoe Click, and Neal Scisney. (All Christian Artists)
I also got to give a short to my hometown artists like Young Fizzle, Tink, Guerilla Hustlas, Fatal Records, Crossin' Tha Bridge Reacords, Neal Scisney, and any of my hometown rappers I didn't name. These guys gave me a push and showed me my little hometown can go somewhere in life.
Favorite spot?
Churchs
Anything else...?
My mission in Christian rap is to praise, worship, minister, fellowship, and step out of tradition & religion.
People are divided in boxes in the church these days and you can't put Jesus in a box to have a perfect relationship with him. God is moving these days and pouring out his spirit. He's doing it in different ways to and from everyone, but religion does not see that. Not even denomination. I'm not saying that every is saved and can do what they want, but I'm saying let God deal with is his way for you. This way you won't be caught up in religion, denomination, or tradition. You will just BE IN JESUS.
Steppin' out of tradition and Religion,
Pacbaby
