Welcome. I am Matt Sims, and I wrote and performed the music you are about to hear. I'm primarily a guitarist and a songwriter, so most of the emphasis is on those two aspects.

Why this name?
It is my name. However, I am thinking of changing it to Lars Hoevenstockelbergershmidt as it is easier to remember.

I play live, which beats playing dead. I have done that before too.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This is gonna blow your mind...does the internet change the music industry, or is it the other way around?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why, do you know somebody? Let's have lunch. Have your people call my people. Actually, I'd rather sell these songs than sign with a label.
Band History:
Millions of years ago dinosaurs ruled the earth. I began playing sometime after that.
Your influences?
Listen for ideas taken from the Beatles, Sting, Eric Johnson, east asian music, Indian music, and jazz.
Favorite spot?
The nape of the neck.

Fender and Martin guitars with SEWELL AMPS. Recordings done using Cakewalk Home Studio.
