DeadBeatz is a group of two who do music for the love of the music. Profess is the emcee and the guy who makes beats is the producer. We originate from San Diego California and our music is whatever you want it to be. We just create music because we want to, there's no higher purpose, we just would rather spend our time creating music than anything else.
Why this name?
DeadBeatz are people who don't do anything with their lives. People who don't understand think that we aren't doing anything with our lives.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live. Usually at club recognize. Yes we love it. Every performance is a special moment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes eveything accessable. With the internet everything is available at a click of a button. Where as before, you would have to search everywhere for those underground cd's and tapes. It also helps new artists gain more exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i suppose it all depends.
