Duncan Idaho first started in a band named "Woodgreen", named this by his asian guitarist's obsession with pinkos. Woodgreen were known for their blisteringly abrasive covers of songs by The Smiths. One particulary heated gig saw an entire song "Heaven knows i'm miserable now" sung backwards by Duncan while his band hid inside the drumkit's bass drum. It was obvious Idaho did not relate well to his peers, or at least not these creeps. "By Golly!" he thought, "why don't I go solo, touring america on a motorbike with a hired band?"

A few weeks on the road with "The Catholics" made it obvious to Idaho that his previous band were not the problem, he was the problem. He was a very big problem, with problems attached.

Ever since this revelation Idaho has locked himself in a wine cellar with an assortment of funny looking things with strings and bolts hastily attached to them, recording the results these various "instruments" make with a cheap receptionist's headset.
Why this name?
Duncan Idaho, ah Duncan Idaho. Paul Atriede's loyal bodyguard, selfless Idaho.
Do you play live?
Duncan Idaho and the experimental eight have played to various farm animals, and at a house party (funnily enough, containing farm animals). He also filled in a guitar spot in a gig for the band "No Squall" which he happened to be a co-founder of. This event has since become famous amongst hard drives around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.

Anything else...?
Sometimes it helps... if you just give it a name or somethin'. Somehow it makes it easier to take. If you just give it a name then you can... then you can think of it as a friend and you're doin' it a favour or something. You can pick it up and say "Hi friend hi bird, you're my friend, and i'm putting you away now."
