Daydreamin
Bassist Singer/Songwriter Scott Varneys song “So different so the same” though not about himself describes him best. Scott’s music and personality bring something rather unique to the table yet so familiar he makes you feel right at home.
Why this name?
My Mom picked it out 25 yrs ago I thought I've had it so long why not keep it.
Do you play live?
Playin live is where it's at for me. I'm currently playing all over VA. The "Special moment" in a Scott Varney show is the fact that I'm a one man Band. I use Loops live to create the sound of a full band on stage. So I'm upi there playin Bass lines, Lead lines Drum lines and than singing all over it all.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows independent Musicians such as myself to get our music out to a larger audience who would otherwise never hear us.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, if it was a good deal!
