So here's the scoop: I acquired some editing programs from that cat 8BZaG (8bzag.2ya.com) with the intention of taking a step into the wild world of hip hop beat making. I have alot of ideas, and minimum talent, so look for the skills to improve over time. Right now I'm basically just taking existing songs, getting inspired, chopping them up and making beats out of them for use by 8BZaG, S.A.P., B.o.D. or any of their affiliated artists. Or, you could ask me if you're interested, I'm not too picky.
Why this name?
It's a twist on a pet name given to me by an ex-girlfriend of mine. It's pronounced "Gizmo." That's about it.
Do you play live?
Nah, I don't play anything live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry because it gives people options. Before, all you had was what the record companies fed you, and anyone you knew local. Now, all of a sudden, you have this resource in the internet that not only allows you to discover new artists, but also allows up and coming artists to get discovered. Unfortunately, those whiny millionaires in the music business are trying to shut down P2P, which I see as a great way for them to sell MORE records by getting artists' music out into the world quicker.
Of course, if they made better music in the first place, they'd sell the records anyway.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure. I'd sell out. Why not?
Band History:
One day, I decided "Hey! I want to make beats!" So Bza gave me some programs, and I made beats.
The end.
The end.
Your influences?
Visionaries of beat making like MF Doom and Necro. Visionaries of noise like the Vomit Arsonist. And, of course, 8BZaG, S.A.P., Board of Directors, etc.
Equipment used:
A Dell computer equipped with Adobe Audition, Fruity Loops Studio, Acid Pro, and Reason. Oh, and this brainful of ideas.
