I have always performed as myself since much I have done solo. When I signed with Christandar Records, I met an awesome group of musicians who are now my band, The Boomers. Today we are known as Tim Brummett and the Boomers.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. This part of the country is a special part of me and I Love living here. I will be performing throughout the US in 06.

I am completely blown away at the potential and openess offered to writers and artists by the internet. No more playing every honky tonk around to get your sound out and sell records. The internet makes it possible for the many talented artists to make a good living without signing their lives away. I believe the internet will completely overhaul the music business to the great benefit of the music lovers worldwide and to those artists who work hard and are talented.

I have a wonderful family and want to stay close to home for periods of time, so I would have to make a lot of money to benefit my entire family before I would sign and tour for months at a time. Of course if one of the big labels approached with a serious offer I am sure it would be hard to say no.

I have been playing and performing since I was 15 years old. Music is my passion. I like the natural sound of acoustic music and have stayed that way my whole life. I just kept playing and writing simple, melody driven songs that weren't about big production and looking good and I guess old fashioned singers like me have become new again. I am performing in the Pacific Northwest at very nice venues and have released my first CD which is selling and my songs are gaining airplay on major internet music sites and radio stations. Tow of my songs have reached number one on their respective charts here on soundclick, for which I am grateful and proud.

I love the music of the 50's and 60's. I am a great admirer of Johnny Cash. Also love the songs and the powerful vocals of the great Roy Orbison. Others who influence my work are Elton John, John Prine and Steve Earle. I also love BIG showtunes with their simple melodies.

I truly Love the entire USA, but the awesome town of Spokane, WA is and will always be my favorite place. I dream of touring the UK.

I play with my trusty old friend "Minerva". She is a 76 Ovation. I also play a Korg keyboard and occassionally a Telecaster electric. My sound is made up of Line 6 amps, and a B-52 PA System.
