DAZARIO is comin at you originally from Chi-Town hittin u hard with a familiar sound but always with that special something that keeps the streets buzzing and coming back for more. DAZARIO is with the independent label Daz Hype Records(a division of HYPROINC Media Corporation) in which he is the current C.E.O. DAZARIO or also know as "DAZ" is also an A&R for Crowded House Records/Universal in New York. He is also a rising star on the silver screen. Having played the leading man in the brand new award winning romantic comedy "A Lover For My Husband" It seems like he is determined to steamroll right into his destiny no matter what obstacles may come!

Why this name?

Well, I actually go by a few names. I usually just go by plain ole Dazario. (Thats my middle name.) I also go by David Dazario (my first and middle name) and as an actor I am credited as David Bjorlie (My first and last name) So, its really an attestament to my ability to wear many hats and guises at the same time and take charge of each respective situation.

Do you play live?

Yea I play live at clubs that my promotions manager or public relations personnel books usually in the Chicago and New York areas but I'm alwayz willing to travel to wherever my supporters care to see me. I love to perform because it gives me a chance to give whatever little motivation I can for people to believe in themselves and say, "Hey, I can do that too..." I live to inspire other people. As you get older, receiving is cool, but giving feeds your soul.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It has broadend the scope of our access and selection by leaps and bounds. Not so long ago we were listening to 8 tracks, so the opportunities with this platform are literally limitless.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Sure. I have been approached by some labels, and to be honest I think my knowledge as an A&R is my achillies heel because I have to bring my own baggage to the agreement. At the same time it lets people know that I know the game inside out and as long as the deal is ligitimate we could make beautiful music together.

Band History:

Started off in the bizness as assistant regional promotions manager with Perspective Records. Later went on to promote other labels like Relativity, Platinum, Artemis, Priority, Interscope, Virgin and Perspective as well os their respective artists in the R&B and Hip-Hop divisions. Later HYPROINC Media Corporation and Daz Hype Records were born as a vehicle to be able to allow Dazario to spread his wings and create in each and every since of the word, and its been uphill ever since.

Your influences?

I have always been influenced by Stevie Wonder, the Jackson family, Tupac Shakur, Mc Lyte, Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony, Johnny Gill, Mariah Carey, Jay z, Run DMC, Mint Condition, I think you get the idea...

Favorite spot?

Chicago, New York, HOTlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, and New Orleans. Ya know basically wherever my people wanna get it crackin.
