Welcome to the start of the new domination. I'm a new artist trying to break my way thru the door and demand the attention that I deserve. Getting ready, 'cuz I refuse to be ignored. I'm the next one. I might not be a great, but you won't deny me what that I am talented. Now, enjoy your listening process. I know I enjoy making them. And, I will be making more. Hopefully, I will be making them with a major distributor backing me. C. Cue is the name. Don't worry, you'll know it well.
Why this name?
This is my name. Just my first initial and my last name. Nothing can be realer than that.
Do you play live?
Currently, I don't play live. Just battle other emcess. I'd love to have the opportunity to showcase my recorded songs. I alright like performing live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that the net is allow a new way for music to be released to the public. It's the same thing what mixtapes were in the early 90s. Labels just need to learn how to market it properly. Once they do, everything will be better than before
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign a joint venture with a major label. I started my own label. I won't reveal the name as of now. It's still going thru the legal work. But, I would love to have them work with me to make the best out of a situation that would definitely make both of us rich. Well, make them a lil richer.
Band History:
I started battle rhyming when I was 13. I performed locally to gain respect among my peers in the south (South Carolina). I'm completing my mixtape, Alertful Awareness, as you're listening to this. So, make sure that you do whatever is necessary to get your copy of that. It should be something on there for everyone. And, still obtain fluidity from one song to the next. Allowing everyone to sit thru the entire CD and come out of it with something.
Your influences?
I love music. Point blank. It doesn't matter what genre it's from. If it is good and came from the heart of the artist, I'll feel it. I mean everything from 2Pac to Tool, from Linkin Park to Mos Def, from Nelly to Damien Rice. I love it all.
Favorite spot?
I was born and raised in the great city of Philadelphia, PA. I currently live in NJ and I resided in SC. But, my heart remains Philly til I die.
