Hello. This is Charles Yip here. I am in 10th grade, as of 2005-2006. I've been told many times that this website had MAJOR errors. So I'm fixing it! This website is to spread my music all around the country, conveying the emotions that the composer put into his piece.
Why this name?
Chrono means time in latin, and the numbers represent my birthday. If you want to be on my subscribed e-mail list, e-mail me at chrono721info@yahoo.com I'll send you stuff about updates, cds, or answer your questions.
Do you play live?
I live in Massachusetts. The town I live in is actually a pretty boring place, but I still like living here. It's a small town that's more involved with sports than music though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Because Internet is a "communication" source, Mp3's can make way throughout the world. Though, the best way is to listen live, Mp3 are very useful when sending music online.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on which label.
Band History:
Started violin when I was 5 1/2 years old with Allison Bayley. I continued playing the violin for 10 1/2 years now. When I started out, I used Suzuki books for about 7 years. After that, I quit Suzuki to persue other pieces of music.
Your influences?
I was influenced by a lot of things, But mainly I was influeced by my time at Tanglewood this year. After listening to the people there, I come to enjoy the violin a lot more.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot is Cape cod Beach. I have walked along the shores. Sitting and thinking about life.
Equipment used:
Uh... I really don't use Techno, but I do use FINALE Notepad, and I have my friend help me with his 2004 version. I also use supermp3recorder to take recordings.
Anything else...?
