Why this name?
After reading the book "The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism's" by VINCENT B. LEITCH, I came up with the name.
Do you play live?
Have played at numerous locations, parks, college dorms, street corners, and occasionally outside someones bedroom window.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet, to be sure, has a limited but important role in the molding of the music industry. By making music and material available, from musicians and artists who are unsigned to the public, increases the chance for someone to have a successful music career without the involvement of big business if the artist so chooses. The fact that lesser known bands on the labels' payrolls are selling more music while the big popstars have seen a decline in sales, goes to show that music listeners want more variety and not the same mechanically churned out pop crap that you hear on the radio and on MTV.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, for the financial benefits alone, I would sign with a Major label. I would prefer to be signed on a smaller independant label. No matter what I would NEVER have someone else inform me of how I would dress, talk, sing, perform, etc.
Your influences?
Dave Matthews, Peter Frampton, David Gray, Ottmar Liebert, John Ondrasik, Ben Harper, Talking Heads, Erasure, Information Society, Jeffrey Gaines, Ben Folds, Elton John, Tim Reynolds, Peter Gabriel.
