This is actually a Record label started by Mavado Roaster (me) The CEO what you will find here is any beats or mix tape songs etc.. from the whole F.E. Records. conisisting of Mavado, Hades, Rocky, Dealer Boys, Mdubbs, and many more
Why this name?
well F.E. stands for F*ck Entertainment Me and my mans lil been stuggalin ta sign so we said f*ck it lets start our own label and we don't consider it entertainment it's like you can't live whit out music it's like church almost just something you need in you r life
Do you play live?
Right now we're in the process of getting everything together getting all the artist to the studio gettin stuff done however we will be playing live up and down the east coast hopefully build up this thing from scratch. So to any and all fans show your support cop the albums Holla at me thru email and we can take it from there
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well it's just more promotion figured we were going to need alot of that to be anywhere close to successful.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd love the backing of a major record label but either way we gon blow
Band History:
well it basically started whit me (Mavado) I wrote these ryhmes one day as a youngin. I started spittin to my mans seein what they thought. My number one man Hades (Kahlil Douglas) started spittin whit me. we wouild sit on my porch and record all day on my lil portable boom box. We got a lil group of about 9 people together everybody just come over my crib spittin then everybody else fell off besides me and my man Hades. so nahmean this around age 12-13 so we started doin lil ish knowin we wasn't goin get far listenin to our selves all the time but it was fun n over the years we got better n better. It got to the point where the streets started influencin our ryhmes more nahmean growin up in south west philly wasn't easy we started hustlin people gettin locked up left n right gettin into lil beefs whit people. and we both always had a passion for music. so we like f*ck it lets do it then. nahmean I got knocked for a bunch of ish n the judge cut me a break sent me up to vt whit my peoples told me stay outta trouble cleaned my record me and Hades communicatin over the phone then he got locked up for 14 months which ended up being 16 because of different drama in his placement. so we writin letters back n fourth gettin idea after idea that's where we at now
Your influences?
1st and formost the streets is ia major influence on the way we rap the things we say. basically we influenced each other as we each progressed in the game I'd see the level he was on whit it n I would try to exceed n he would see me n vice versa. Everybody we know rap My man hades brother influenced me personally cuz his ish is just ridiculus
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot Philly all day nottin like that fresh city air man I love it
Equipment used:
well for the beats it's fruity loops all day thats a tight program for those that don't know you got any interest n makin beats cop that you see what I can do whit it
