The Froppo Story

Froppo began his plunge into solo music around the year 1993. His first songs, "Fishhands" and "View" were created with a keyboard, guitar, and karaoke machine. The sound quality was horrible, the singing was off, but Froppo didn't mind. He wrote the music for himself. It was mainly his emotional outlet. Years passed by, Froppo continued to write and compose music on his own. Between the years 1995 and 1997 he recorded two full length albums, Colors and Self Titled. These albums were heavily influenced by 80s alternative groups such as The Cure, The Joy Division, and New Order. Froppo's main focus during these years was Oddelic and The Tens, the two bands he created. Again, his solo music was mainly there for his own enjoyment.


Later on Froppo became more and more interested in Techno and Trance. His interests moved from 80s alternative to groups such as ATB, Prodigy, and Moby. His music began to take on a whole new feel.


As time progressed Froppo's solo music began to slip out to friends and family members. Many of them encouraged him to expose his solo music to the public, which he did. Eventually he released an album that was specifically designed for public ears, as well as his own. This album, Robot Galaxy, hit store shelves during the year 2002. Music from the album got decent reviews on various music websites which encouraged Froppo to continue to work on more solo music geared for the public.


Currently Froppo is working on a new album which is tentatively titled Faceless.
The few songs uploaded here will be on this upcoming album. Froppo is also currently attending the University of New Haven where he will be double majoring in Recording Arts and Music Industry.
