This vocalist and songwriter uses the keyboard and guitar as writing tools. She says, "I dream large and in vivid color! I listen to all types of music and pull a little from each genre...I like whatever makes me feel something..."
Why this name?
Linda Moore. It's my name. Really.
Do you play live?
I've been collaborating alot lately and I've posted one of the songs I co-wrote with Nate Oravitz. Check it out I think you'll like it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes new music accessible to everyone and I think that's what it's all about.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely! But I'd have a really good lawyer.
Band History:
Former Bands:

Blue Steel (1995-1996)
Craven Moore (1996-1997)
Still Life on Mars (1996-1999)
Linda Moore (2000-present)
Your influences?
I have CDs ranging from Fiona Apple, Rammstein, the Pixies, Garbage and Prodigy to Coal Chamber, Lords of Acid, KMFDM, Outkast, Jill Scott, the Beatles, Sam Phillips and people you've probably never heard of from other countries. My music is an eclectic mix, but it's definitely not metal if that's what you're looking for. I've done metal before but my most recent stuff isn't like that. I'd be into doing a weird hybrid of metal, pop and hip hop. It was therapeutic to scream.
Favorite spot?
CBGB in NYC & South Street, Philly. I loved playing CBGB it was amazing!
Equipment used:
When I was in an industrial band we used a DR7. Now I just use an old Yamaha keyboard and play with everything in Acid Pro and Soundforge. There are Uilean Pipes (Irish bagpipes) on my song 'Hard Candy', which were played by Charlie Rafferty. You can only hear that on my tripod site though: http://lamooremuse.tripod.com/themooreyoudream.
Anything else...?
Come check me out. I'm also on www.myspace.com/lindamoore
