THIS GUITORMENTOR SITE IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY & POSITIVE VIBE OF MIKE "dang ol" MILLER (6/13/78-9/13/03). Mike plays drums & bass on the Guitormentor CD "AUTO POTATO". Affectionally called "Milhouse" & "Millerhiemer" by friends, Mike & synthguitar player Stan Kebel Jr., came up with the "Auto Potato" concept. Michael was just getting good as a drummer, when he decided to buy a bass. After a few quick lessons from Stan he was soon jammin' with the band on the bass. Mike Miller left us one tragic night in a motorcycle accident. How he loved to go fast! He was returning back home to Miami, Fl. from the Everglades (out in the boonies) on US 41, a 2 lane blacktop road that crosses the state from east to west, probably going over 100-115 MPH. Despite warnings from family & friends, (he told Stan "she cruises at 118 MPH" just the day before) & the usually desolate road at night, a van pulled out onto the road in front of him & he hit it. "Mike, we will always remember your music, friendship, willingness to help others & especially your happy-go-lucky attitude. I hear your voice laughing. yuk! yuk! yuk! Laughing hard.
