Why this name?

All of the REALLY good names were already taken, so we came up with this one.

Do you play live?

At the present time, we live over 3000 miles apart (Bob in the Boston area, James in the Los Angeles area), so no. We do perform separately with other artists from time to time. Also, we are currently auditioning musicians in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas to form a live version of All Human Parts Orchestra in the near future. If you are an interested Los Angeles area musician, feel free contact us.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Different people (other than record companies) can now get rich off of the creativity of musicians. Of course, the opportunity is there for individuals to build their own sites, and sites like this are a relatively inexpensive way to be heard in distant places around the world.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:

Bob and James met in the hallway of a New Jersey grade school many moons ago, and later worked together in several bands prior to forming AHPO. So, in a way, this is a reunion of sorts. They got together for what they thought would be a one-time recording session after the 2002 Grammy Awards and then THIS happened...
