Why this name?
It fits with our thoughts and ideas...
Nina just wrote down a load of random words and after after a while we picked Deny.
Nina just wrote down a load of random words and after after a while we picked Deny.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet can help the music industry just as much as it can hurt the industry.

Band History:
Deny are a duo band consisting of Nina Cohen (Vocals/guitar) and Lee Wy©ked (Lead guitar).
Lee and Nina both met each other over the Internet in early 2004 and started writing lyrics and music passing audio files back and forth to one another to add vocals or guitar parts to them.
Later that summer Nina and Lee formed Flowers of Evil, an early version of what would later become Deny. It wasn't long though before the two realized that their name didn't appeal to them as much as they'd like so they adequately dubbed their band Deny.
There are two different meanings behind their name Deny...
¨Deny, as in you cannot deny yourselves what you want in life because life itself is simply too short¨. Lee said.
Another view came from Nina (Vocals/guitar) when she was asked what their name Deny ment to her
¨For me, Deny means ´lies´ and ´regreat´. You deny things, then you get caught up in your own lies and start believing them.¨
Deny's music ranges from Gothic Rock, Metal, Hard rock, Acoustic rock and much more.
So make way for Deny. With thier EP ´Beyond The Grave´ in the making, and the two members located in two different countries (the U.S. and Spain), the result is sure to be quite interesting!
Who would have thought it could be possible to make an EP from different sides of the globe? Luckily this band is determined to prove us wrong.
