Why this name?
Analyst describes the way I look on life and imagery and put it into use when I'm writing my lyrics, analysing the way the world is and going deep into certain things.
Another version of the story is that when I went to perform at the Oh! Bar, Camden High Street, Lyric Pad, I told my friend to put my name as Annaplist (rhythm demon, some latin thing), he missheard and Analyst was brought into light.

Do you play live?
I freestyle on demand. I can never memorise my lyrics, too much complexity to have to revise, ha ha, only joking. Freestyling's better for more on the spot interraction with the crowd I perform to, I usually do that.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry being brought onto the internet, is just broading the possibilities for music to be heard by people all over the world. The big cats wont get paid as much because of downloads, but they're bringing in more money than most people, music should be for everyone, and the greed for money and success should not consume them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would. Then I would bring up every rapper that I've cyphered with and have talent that the world would not hear. Using power like that would change lives, change music. Everyone deserves a chance to get heard, getting signed to a major level would help a lot of people, not just me.
Your influences?
Combine the flow of Chester P and Jehst with humour and intelligence, you'll get somewhere near the ability of Analyst.
