The "check-to-check mic checkers" checking you chin
Why this name?
Born 2morrow is a metaphor for being ahead of our time. You can't stop what hasn't been born yet, so that's about all that went behind the name.
Do you play live?
We love playing live. The energy you get from the crowd is so much more rewarding than any recording can give you. We mostly do shows around the Tucson, Tempe, and Phoenix area but we are always open to tour other places. As long as there's an audience we're game. Sometimes even when there's not! haha.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Exposure. We got like a thousand people checking out our stuff on a regular basis. It's good for creating a fan base and a sense of community, as you can talk to fans one on one, get their screen names, e-mails whatever. It just makes the whole experinece of making music and having people listen to it more intimate, and the feedback is almost instant. you don't have to wait for a song to get put on an album or mixtape or something just to wait and see what the response is. If they like it right away, u keep it, if not, you still keep it, but you make a mental note to yourself as to what works and waht doesn't with your audience. The internet is a wonderful place for up and coming artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
of course. Like Planet Asia says, "Don't try to lie and say you not about them dollars and cents". Money is a necessity unfortunately, and major labels have plenty of it to offer. But right now, we just love making music and getting it out there. Music first, money second. We make good music, but that doesn't always translate into good money and we are all fully prepared for that.
