Soul Doubt represents new UK urban music using the production skills of Danny Hale and vocals from David Williams. Influenced by old soul melodies and new urban production techniques, Soul Doubt also collaborates with other artists in the rising world of UK hip hop and r'n'b.
Do you play live?
We concentrate on getting our music played live by DJ's in R'n'B and hip hop venues aroung the UK. Our tracks have also been played on 1Xtra as one of there Homegrown cuts.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Soul Doubt records as a label is in its early stages of development and this independent route is currently most suitable. However if a major label offered a deal that does not compromise artistic integrity then there would be no reason not to sign with them.
Your influences?
Old soul music such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye as well as more contemporary artists and producers like Timbaland and the Neptunes. Producers like Premier, Dre and Kanye West are also a big influence.
Favorite spot?
Liverpool is close by and offers sum good spots for urban nights.
