Homestyle Waffles is a heavy/speed metal band from Victorville, CA.
Why this name?
We needed a name. We're all fairly goofy. It fits.
Do you play live?
We play anywhere and everywhere we get a chance. Playing live is what it's all about.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Promotion, promotion, promotion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the contract was right, of course.
Band History:
It all started with two guitarists, Brett and Glyn; and two percussionists, Jared and JD. The two separate units came together, forging their own sound with mixing influences. Each member seems to be a certain force within the group, creating four totally unique perspectives put together to create a single core.
Your influences?
We each have different influences (as cliche as that is to say), but some would include Death, Opeth, Therion, Iron Maiden, and earlier In Flames.
Some general styles are technical death metal, black metal, heavy metal.
