DEMO: 30 Minutes of Spinnage
Just a DJ, rockin hot beats and vocals. I mostly spin hip-hop but do have a pretty good collection of old rock and some other hot wax. I know Williamsburg VA isn't known as a hip-hop hot bed, I'm originally from Baltimore, MD. moved to Columbia MD then Williamsburg. I'm currently at Radford University, studyin, chillin.
Why this name?
I kinda thought about DJ Coleslaw or DJ C-Slaw but Amaretto I think sounds better and maintains the fact that I love Amaretto Liqouer
Do you play live?
I have DJ'd a couple small parties. Nothin special. Hopefully I'll be spinnin at Cujo's in Hampton Roads, VA Thanksgiving night check it out
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I mean its kind of gotten a bad rap. A lot of the music that I download I probably wouldn't go out and buy. And its great that sites like this one exist for people to get their name out there so props on that. I think overall it has increased peoples awareness of different genres and artists
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
ha, definitely if I was lucky enough
