Yo It's me 5fingaz, I done a couple of cd's in Tampa Bay wit my old crew, I moved to Texas (S.A.) and done tracks wit a couple of my peeps here. But as life goes niggas go sepperate ways, so now I'm ridin solo, f***in wit whoever wan be f***ed wit. So holla at ya boy.
Why this name?
Well, this was my nickname, because I used to lift alot of things from stores and etc. when I was young, and people just startin callin me 5fingaz so I stuck wit it.
Do you play live?
Yeah, Last spot was at "The Underground". Was Off the chain, lil goin away concert for one of my boys in the industry joining the marines.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes it alot easier to get your music out there, and in return find different music that appeals to you.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Fo sho, I mean almost anybody wanna get signed. I just wanna get recognized.
Your influences?
I Rap, and I had a producer that used to make my beats back in Tampa, but since I moved I been makin my own. I was influenced by damn near all the underground dirty south rap... but most of my mainstream influence was from triple six, pastor troy, Tim and magoo, twista, Outkast, and a few more of the mainstream dirty south reps.
Favorite spot?
ATL, GA, Hometown of course... Fulton County holla at ya boy. Second up is Germany. Nothin like Europe
Equipment used:
A Fantom keyboard, computer, XLR mic, Firewire mixer, & Various mastering and editing programs
Anything else...?
I'm open to collab wit whoever. Not one of those artist who thinks he's to good to mess wit others for nothin. I love music, I just like makin it, so if you wan do something just holla at me. No hatin from this end. We need to come together to save this industry before it ain't ours no more.
