I'm a soloist for now (until my other band gets some good material and ready to record).
Why this name?
I just thought it would be funny to be super conceited. Also, nonspecific names provide for fun conversations.
Do you play live?
I play live when I record (hey, I have to be alive to record it right?). Wow. That was stupid.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes the spreading of music easier, which is good no matter what. It doesn't matter if you make it big. It just matters that you are having fun. If you make money and others enjoy it, it's a plus.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but I don't want to become a super sell-out (not with my other band at least). I think if I were good enough to get a record label as a solo artist.....I would jump on it. Although, I can't play live unless I get other members, and that defeats the whole purpose of a solo project.
Band History:
I just decided one day to put on a solo side-project in which I play all the instruments. Yes. I am that insanely awesome.
Your influences?
Stefan Lessard, Victor Wooten, Geddy Lee (Rush), Roger Watters, Les Claypool, Mike Dirnt, Bootsy Collins, Rick James.....the list can go on, but I shall spare your souls this time!
Favorite spot?
I'm not sure, but I can assure you that it is not ANYWHERE in Arizona. I'm guessing anywhere with really good slopes would be good. I love to snowboard.
Equipment used:
I use my bass, a free multi-track recording software, and a cheap mic. I beatbox all of my own drums, do my own vocals, and play my own music.
Anything else...?
Anything? Check out my music. Even if it isn't serious, most people still find it extremely funny.
