I have always loved creating music and have experimented with a number of genre's, I think being creative is a challenge that many people enjoy but never quite get to sharing widely.
Why this name?
It is my name, so why not use it.
Do you play live?
Occaisionally, depends on the event.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the Internet has revolutionised music distribution and made music much more accessible, especially for unsigned musicians and bands.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the offer, but I would certainly be interested if anyone has a good offer.
Band History:
There is not real history as such as I tend to work on things alone mostly, but I enjoy remixing for DJ friends and the odd event I particiate in as a DJ, apart form being great fun, I enjoy the atmosphere and seeing people really enjoy what I am doing.
Your influences?
Like many, I grew up with classical music and dicovered Jazz, Rock and other genres, so my influences are Pink Floyd, The Who, Eric Clapton, Jacques Louisser, David Sanborne and many others, I like to listen to new music and get ideas form what is current.
Favorite spot?
Moscow, Russia, a vibrant and new music scene with people hungry for new music, a great place to go out and enjoy yourself and trhe clubs are terrific.
Equipment used:
Computers, electronic keybaords, especially my old Korg M1 and the DX8 is still useful
Anything else...?
Possibly one of the best instruments a musician can have is a PC, how to produce CD quality tracks with realtive ease and cheaply given what's on the market, great for re-mixing too and takes the hard slog out of production.
