Chrome-Eight has been together since 2001 with Francis (Guitar), Johann (Bass), and Chris (Drums) being the core of the group. After testing the water with a few vocalists, the three founding members finally tapped Nicolo (vocals) to be their vocalist in June 2003 with the help of former Contented Cows frontman, Marco Ortiga.
In their first few months, the band spent their time playing covers in friends’ birthdays and the like. After realizing their chemistry and being wary of their respective abilities, Chrome-Eight started writing their own songs, which is a product of simple yet distinctive and catchy complimenting elements. The pleasing bass lines of Kit and pulsating drums of Chris serve as the perfect backbone for the harmonious vocals of Nix and melodic guitars of Francis.
Equipped with their originals, the band hopes to hit the recording studio by January 2005 and release a 5-track E.P.
