I grew up doing music from the age of 3 and have performed in several groups along the way. I have mostly done Southern Gospel but in the last few years have branched out to Contemporary Christian, Pop and some Country. I believe music is absolutely the universal language and I hope to reach out to as many people as I can with my music.
Why this name?
Chloe means blooming and flowering. I like the sound of the name and if something is blooming and flowering then there is evidence of life!
Do you play live?
I do play live at Churches, Weddings, Fairs, Benefits, anywhere I can sing. Every moment I perform is special..every performer knows there is nothing like the rush you get on stage doing what you truly love to do!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it has had a definite impact on product sales for the most popular artists but at the same time what a great venue for the unknowns trying to break into the business and get their music out for the world to hear.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a heartbeat!
As I mentioned I grew up doing Southern Gospel, songs from Hovie Lister and The Statesman and Dottie Rambo. As an adult I have branched out to some other genres such as Contemporary Christian and have been influenced by some of the earlier works of The Imperials, Russ Taff and Michael English, Pop influences by Rod Stewart and Michael Bolton. A mixed bag I must say!
